I will never be surprised by the new fashion trends. In this house I am constantly exposed to summer, spring, fall and winter fashions. Let's just say I have a teenage daughter with a fashion industry dream. She fully intends to work in the major fashion industry some day. Therefore, she never stops trying new styles and attempting to begin trends of her own. I will admit it, I'm glad to see that she's so passionate about something. On the downside, this little hobby/passion can get rather expensive where I'm standing.
Women and their clothes! What in the world would they ever do without them? The females in my house would go utterly insane without a deluge of clothing, shoes and accessories to choose from. They simply can't get enough. These days it's all about winter fashions. After all, this is what's hot right now. It's mid-November, and there are plenty of new and exciting winter fashions hitting the shelves. I here the best store to find them is Nordstrom's. My wife and teenage daughter are obsessed with this high-end department store. Somehow they get me to go there about twice a month. Of course this is not such a great deal for me. Although I don't generally give into the current male fashions, I still end up spending a bundle on all of their clothing items and shoes. Now that the winter fashions are in full-effect, that means boots are everywhere. Nordstrom's offers a wonderful variety of fashionable boots, but don't be shocked if they cost you a pretty penny. The ones I purchased last winter ran $390. Men get your check and credit cards ready!
There are so many clothing and department stores to pick and choose from when it comes to winter fashions. Do what I do, and make the ladies of your house narrow it down to just three. This way you're not spending your entire weekend in women's clothing departments. Oh, and trust me on this one; browsing through three stores or less can take a LONG time. I spent my entire Saturday in just two last weekend. I can't fathom how it takes women so long to try on some slacks or dresses. Heck, they only go on one way!
