Are you a knife person? When I say this, I simply mean do you carry a knife where ever you go? Now, don't get me wrong; this isn't a bad thing. I personally feel naked without my knife clipped in my pocket. Maybe you too carry a modern-day tactical folder. Or maybe you're one of those old timer pocket knife kind of folks. My grandpa surely was. he had his old timer pocket knife in his jeans 24/7. That fine little blade sure can come in handy at times. You never know when you might need to cut, whittle, or peel something out of the blue. You've probably already figured out that we're from the more rural part of the world. I will be the first to admit that I'm a knife fanatic. I blame my father for this since he clearly was the one who got me started in the cutlery collecting. And I'm talking about hardcore "do it all" kinds of knives that never let you down. The contemporary blade is crafted from S30-V. Now that's some serious steel. If they only could have made the old timer pocket knife with this stuff. Things may have been a tad different in my grandfather's day.
