Campaign Signs
No matter what office you may be running for, you may want to use campaign signs to get your name out there. When its time for the presidential election, you probably see these everywhere. They arent just for the highest office in the land; these can be used on a local level for just about any elected position. These have proven to be very effective in the past.
Most of these signs have the candidates name on the sign, and perhaps a short slogan and what office they are running for. For the most part, campaign signs simply say something like Page for Mayor and they leave it at that. The great thing about these is that they are rather inexpensive, and keep the name of the candidates on the minds of those who see them. Some may use color to let people know what party they belong to, or the word re-elect to state they are already in office and are up for another term.
These campaign signs are often seen in residential lawns, and sometimes posted in fields along the highway. Individuals who support a candidate often give permission for these campaign signs to be put in their lawn. This is their way of showing support for the candidate they want elected, and a way to get others to at least have the name in their mind. This can lead people to take more interest in their local elections, and to find out more information about the candidates and what they hope to accomplish if elected.
Most places that print signs or banners can print campaign signs for a candidate. You may find a good deal locally, especially if that company supports you, or you can find something or someone online. Not only do they print up campaign signs, they may also be able to print banners and produce campaign buttons for you. Look around for a good deal, and order more than you think you need. Itll cost you more to go back for a second order.
No matter how a candidate fares in an election, it is important to go around and remove the campaign signs once the election is over. While these signs serve a purpose, they seem like eyesores once the election is over, and these campaign signs may end up littering the ground after a time. This is not a good statement for someone who has just been elected, or for someone who will run again in the future. Environmental issues are on everyones mind, and campaign signs left lying around is an image you can do without.
