Video Dubbing
My first college experience entailed a lot of complicated equipment. I earned a degree in video production, music production, and learned the basics of both fields in terms of management. It was tough, and there was a lot to learn. If you have ever seen the inside of a television studio, or perhaps the soundboard in a recording studio, you know what I mean. I loved both video and sound production, and found that one of the simplest things I learned was video dubbing. After you edit anything, for the most part, you need to make copies. You may have to make one or one thousand, but copies are always needed.
Before you can start video dubbing, you have to make sure what you have finished is correct. I loved video editing, but for some reason, I always found glitches in my finished products. It took a while, and a few bad grades, before I realized what I was doing. When I was editing my video clips, I was not making clean edits. Once I fixed this problem, my videos ran like a dream. Then I could concentrate on video dubbing.
When you have to dub videos, you will find it to be rather simple. If you know how to hook one VCR up to another correctly, you just have to hit play on one and record on the other. That is video dubbing made easy. If you have to go to a different format, like VHS to DVD for example, its a matter of getting those two machines to work together. Going from one format to another when video dubbing can be a hassle however, and you can find people to do it for you if you dont have the time, or cant seem to get it right.
You may never have to worry about video dubbing in your lifetime, but many people do when it comes time for their wedding. If you have a wedding videographer record your wedding, they are going to edit the footage together for you. They will then make as many copies as you would like to have. If you hire someone for this, ask if you can see the finished product before it goes to video dubbing. That way you know you are happy with it before copies are dubbed and the expense gets too high. You may also want to copy special tapes to hand out to family and friends. If these are just home movies you have shot yourself, look for a video dubbing and editing company in your area. They should be able to take care of whatever it is you need, and the prices wont be too bad.
