As a parent, I know that reading to my kids is one of the most important things that I can do. When you are talking about audio books for children, the reader is every bit as important as the content. The wrong reader and, even if it is the best audio books for children there is, your kid will not enjoy it. As a matter of fact, you should probably preview any audio books for children that you intend to give your kids. Sometimes, the readers read too fast. This can frustrate the kid, leaving them unable to understand what is going on. Some children are scared by readers with very deep voices, or people who talk too loud or too sharply. My daughter loves audio books for children so much that she will listen to them on her own, even when I am there. Although she still loves having her daddy read to her, the children audio book is a close second. I don't minds ? as long as she gets to develop a love of reading, I am happy for her.
