One thing that bothers me about my current residence is the lack of bedroom furniture. We could have more, but we don?t have the room for it. My place is tiny, but is even smaller when all of our things are put into it. I suppose when it?s empty it looks like enough space for the three of us, but we just have too much stuff I guess. I went from having a bedroom suite complete with walk in closet and master bath to what we have now. It?s no wonder I am just not happy.
I would love to go out right now and buy a whole set of new bedroom furniture. The things I have now are okay, but they don?t look good anymore, at least to me. I would love something new and more modern, but we just don?t have the room for what I want. I have wanted to have a romantic looking set of bedroom furniture for the longest time, in fact, I remember this from when I was a child. I know one wouldn?t really call furniture romantic, but the bed I want could be for some. I have always wanted a canopy, but I just don?t have the room for it.
My husband is fine with what we have, but I guess he?s always been the sensible one in that type of decision. I can?t say he?s always sensible, but he is when it comes to bedroom furniture or any other type of furniture for that matter. When I want something that we really can?t afford at the time, he has a way of talking me out of it. I wish I had the same power over him when he wants a new guitar, but I guess I just like to pick my battles. I tend to be more sensible in the more important things, and that is all that counts.
I think before I get any new bedroom furniture I should think about getting something new for my daughter. She?s outgrowing her bed, and the dresser she uses has seen better days. I would love to spend the money to get her something that might last all the way until she goes off to college one day. Though this is what most buy, this was never something I had. I would love to give it to her, especially if she would love a canopy, just like her mommy.
